Half-Pipe

For all those freestyle junkies there is a perfectly situated half-pipe just on the main slopes opposite the resort. It is rarely busy so feel free to get as much air as you want.

Boarder-X

Montgenevre has 2 boarder-x/boardercross courses ready for you and your friends to race down. With their high banks and long jumps nobody with a thirst for speed and adventure will be left disappointed.

Free-style with the Big Air Bag

This is a safety air bag situated just after a kicker. Free-style fanatics, skiers and snow boarders of all ages and all levels can try their hand at acrobatic jumps. The airbag area is equipped with a light and sound system to create a real party atmosphere.

Free-Ride 

There is nothing more beautiful then waking up after a night of snow and seeing the entire mountain covered in powder then realising you are in montgenèvre and powder fields, cliffs, gullies and tree runs are just waiting to be carved up.

Montgenevre is home to some of France's best natural free ride. There is something for all levels and it is always worth hiring a guide for the day from our local ski schools (may we recommend jean-paul) to help you enjoy the mountain to its fullest.

Obviously with Free-ride there are risks involved and adventurers should always remember to never go alone, always tell someone where you are going and how long it will take, make sure you have at least 2 avalanche transmitters on your person, you have your avalanche pack with you including a shovel and a probe and you consult an off-piste professional on your itineraries and on the snow conditions.
