Go Montgenevre mission
statement: Simple: we want you to want to come back!
-and this means you like the place, you
like the people and you like the price.
Things
we
don’t
like:
Pushy companies who try to make you buy what you don’t want
Companies who promise one thing and deliver another
Being treated like a number and not a person
No-one interested if there are problems
Things
we do like:
Buying something we’re really pleased with
Finding what you were promised is really there
–or better
Being treated like people
Someone to talk to if there are problems
We have access to a
great range of chalets and apartments across Montgenèvre and in
Les Alberts. From on the piste to away from the crowd we have
accommodation to suit. Look at our apartment and chalet pages
and let us know what you are looking for.

Transfers
Go
Montgenevre wants you to get your holiday off to a good start.
Waiting around for ages in airports whilst reps sort everyone’s
problems is not the best way to begin.
We have
teamed up with Airporthoppers.com and being small we can nip in
between the crowds and collect you either in our 7 place or 8
place mini-buses or if the numbers are bigger we organise
specific transfers . We will take you to your point of
accommodation and make sure you are settled in and have all you
need.

Ski pass / Snowboard hire /
Snowboard lessons
If you book in the high street these items
are included in your package –but usually at a premium. The
companies make extra on these products. At Go Montgenèvre we
guarantee to charge you the same price you would pay locally or
less. Our ‘same price better service’ standard is just that. You
get the service and the price. How do we do it? The locals give
us a small commission on these items which they then take off
their price. In low season we’re able to pass on bigger
discounts on passes and ski hire.
Ski passes:
We normally offer the 6 day pass which covers
the normal week’s holiday. There are many other passes you can
buy. If you want to order the pass from us we need to know a
week in advance so we can have them ready on your arrival.
Ski /snowboard hire:
We have chosen the ski hire shop which has the reputation for
providing the best equipment and service. Some hire shops give
you old and tatty gear particularly if you are new. Our hire
shop renews the stock each season, gives good equipment and is
good value for money. Fabrice or Sandrine –are both excellent
technicians and will be help you get the most out of your
equipment and yes, they speak English!
It is the best value for money around.
Ski lessons:
Montgenèvre is served by ESF the nationally recognised standard
in French ski / snowboard instructing. The other company we use
is A-Peak –they are a little more expensive but their private
lessons in particular are superb and you will learn a lot in a
short space of time. We recommend you book early for peak weeks
as they get booked up very early.
Food glorious

chalets have their own equipped kitchens, however we realise
that some people want a holiday from the kitchen. We are pleased

Après ski
We do not push après ski onto clients as it can
really annoy! However we do realise that for some it can really
make the ski holiday.
Snow Trekking:
An experienced guide will take you on a 2 hour walk with skis
fitted with skins across some breathtaking local scenery that
you cannot get to by ski lift. Watch the sun go down and
experience a taste of life before skis were invented –including
a local aperitif. Then ski down by torchlight. Blue
standard and up.
Skidoos: A
heart-racing experience to drive these machines up through the
empty pistes and off into the wild. These beasts can carry up to
2 people and really are a thrill you will not forget. The trip
includes a warming drink in a mountain restaurant.
Speciality food
evenings: From 39€ a head take a skidoo ride up a
mountain and try some of the finest Italian cooking in the area.
A multi course set menu including wine.
Ski away days:
Why not try another resort for a day? Trips can be arranged to
Serre Chevalier and someone will be there to show you round if
you want. See our ‘adventure page.’
For those who don’t fancy skiing all the way
round the Milky Way and back why not be driven half way and ski
back to Montgenèvre. Our trip takes you to Sauze D’Oulx and
someone will accompany you back to Montgenèvre. Full day trips
to Sauze D’Oulx can also be organised.
