Montgenèvre offers excellent holidays both summer and winter. Right on the Italian border, Montgenèvre dates back to pre-Roman times, being on an ancient pass between Italy and France. The charm of the village is complimented by its position in an area that boasts 300 days sunshine a year. Its height means the snow comes earlier and stays later.
There are many local restaurants and bars in the village offering a range of both traditional mountain fare and popular dishes.

Montgenèvre has a total of 59 slopes, covering 100km of pistes and served by 38 lifts. Of the pistes, 25 are beginner runs, 23 are intermediate runs and 11 are advanced runs. The ski resort has several runs of decent length, the longest being 7km.

Go France: The village is only a 15 minute drive from the historic town of Briançon, Europe’s highest at 1100m. Briançon a charming old walled area full of history and art, along with all the essentials you need from the supermarkets.
The UNESCO protected Vallée de la Clarée with its stunning views and the largest cross country ski area in France starts 10 minutes from your door. Two of our apartments are at the entrance to the valley itself. (Look at Les Alberts in the apartment section).
Go Italy: 15 minutes away is the small Italian town of Cesana Torinese with a stunning high street and a collection of well priced restaurants. Beyond are the historic towns of Oulx, Exilles and Susa.

We do not provide travel but will do transfers from airports and stations. We can also send directions for car travellers.
Car: Around a 12 hour drive from Calais or Le Havre.
Train: TGV from Paris (connections available from Waterloo International Station) to OULX. 20min from resort.
Air: Turin airport. Flights by British Airways, Easyjet and Ryanair –all year -every day. 1hr 25min from resort.
Grenoble airport. Flights by British airways, Ryanair and Easyjet (winter only). 2 hrs 25 min from resort.
