Since the beginning of the summer, Montgenevre has been open and operating, albeit with a few new social distancing measures. The lifts, golf course and now even the Durancia pool and spa are all open for business.

We at Go Montgenevre are up and running and here to stay. We appreciate that this has been a challenging time for everyone. For us, it has been without a doubt, the biggest challenge we have ever faced.

By now you will all be aware of the unprecedented global situation with the coronavirus epidemic. The recent coronavirus outbreak has affected travel and transport globally. Firstly, if you or your family are suffering from it’s direct effects, and unwell or worried for your safety, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Montgenevre is one of the most snow sure ski resorts in the Alps, just over an hour away from Turin.

The area, with easy access to the whole Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, it’s fast becoming a Freeride destination, for those that know the secrets of the area.

The successful, family-run business, Go Montgenevre, was announced as the winner of the international award from Lux Life’s Global Hospitality Awards. The awards aims to showcase the most dynamic and dedicated companies across the hospitality market.

Montgenèvre is a leading family ski resort in the French Alps, offering 425km of snow-sure ski area, and enjoys nearly 300 days of sunshine a year. Some families dream of catching their winter sun on beaches around the world but why not build up your tan in the mountains?

Having spent the past four winters in Montgenevre, I have had the true Montgenevre experience and it is definitely somewhere I now call home. I can happily say that the village welcomed me in with open arms, spending every day up and down the slopes, in and out of the restaurants and bars, building happy memories with those around you in such a wonderful place.
