MOUNTAIN BIKING:

Mountain biking is an integral part of the Montgenèvre resort, in summer you will have the opportunity to ride the slopes in a different way to skiing. With lifts that will take you and your bike to the top of the slopes suitable for all levels. This is fun for the whole family, but also for the most extreme cyclists. The pass also gives you access to other bike parks in the area. A week pass costs around 80€.

Road biking:

Montgenèvre opens up so many possibilities on both the french and Italian sides. The Hautes-Alpes are known for the mythical stages of the Tour de France, with many high altitude passes, among them the Col de l'Izoard, the Col du Lautaret and Galibier, all close to Montgenèvre, with many epic climbs including Col de Sestriere on the Italian side.M

Montgenèvre Pass

Registered and attached to the wrist of its owner, it is valid 7 days from Saturday to Friday. The cost is 60€ for children under 14 years old and 80€ for adults. The Pass allows unlimited but regulated access to the following activities:

- Golf practice: open from 11am to 2pm.

- The summer toboggan (1 free entry every day during opening hours)

- Telemix Chalmettes, Gondrans chairlift and Chalvet gondola lift in free and unrestricted access

- Multi-leisure Park: paddle, kayak and pedal boat every day

- Cinema: free access to the 6pm screening

- Climbin' forest. Valid every day, three daily departures: 13:00 / 13:30 / 14:00, within the limit of available harnesses.

Offer +: present your Pass, receive many offers in the different shops of Montgenèvre.

NOTES

- A minimum of 4 people is required to maintain an outing
- A minimum level of cycling is required. You must be able to brake and descend on forest and stony paths.
- Minimum height of 1m45
- Equipment required: Sports shoes, sunglasses, backpack, windbreaker, water and snacks.

Monday Morning → Discovery of Montgenèvre

Monday afternoon → Tour du Chenaillet
25 km, 700 m ascent, duration 3h.
Between France and Italy by single trail

Tuesday morning → Alpage des Gondrans
10 to 15 km, up to 500 m difference in altitude, duration 2h30
Outing in the mountain pastures, at the source of the Durance
Tuesday afternoon → Cesana
20 km, 300 m ascent and 650 m ascent to reach the Italian village of Cesana. Franco-Italian outing

Wednesday morning → Lago Nero
Approximately 25 km, up to 500 m ascent, duration 3h
Between France and Italy in the forest and then in the alpine pasture with the cows to the farm above the lake.
Wednesday afternoon → Basse Vallée de la Clarée
Approximately 20 km, 150 m ascent, duration 3h
Around the villages of this lower valley the route will run along the Clarée.

Thursday morning → Tour de l'Infernet
30 km, 900m ascent, duration 3h30
Discovering the fortifications of the Briançonnais.
Thursday afternoon → The Janus fort
15 km, 700m ascent, duration 3h30
Emblematic summit of Montgenèvre with a visit to the Maginot fort

Friday: Lago Nero

Descent to La Vachette via the forest track, return to Montgenèvre with our shuttle bus.

Friday afternoon → descent to Fontenil via the Lac des Sarailles
Access via the ski lifts, return to Montgenèvre with our shuttle.
