Montgenèvre’s claim to fame is not only the fact that it literally put skiing on the map, being the birthplace of skiing in France, and the first official ski resort, in 1907 - it also sits above 1,800m and brags skiing accessibility up to 2,800m, of pure haute-Alpes powdery bliss AND it is one of the most snow sure resorts in the Alps.

Your ski stay in the French Alps should absolutely include some HELI-SKIING action, if you are a confident off-piste skier with proficient skiing ability and the desire to experience a high Alpine, thrilling ride!

Here in beautiful Montgenèvre we are gearing up for an unforgettable and in high demand 21/22 ski season. There’s no denying we’ve missed having you here. Whilst the sun has continued to shine brilliantly, as expected, here in Montgenèvre, our hearts have been gloomy.
