Admin Team

Sales, admin and customer service assistant

(Montgenevre, France office)
Long Term. 10 Hours a week

Our aim is to provide the kind of holiday that combine excellence with real value that will tempt guests to come back and bring their friends with them. This means they like the place, they like the people and they like the price. We are looking for an engaged and passionate individual to join the growing sales and admin team in the Montgenevre office in the Haute Alpes. This person must be fluent in French and great at dealing with people and computer systems. Ideally fluent in English as well.

Responsibilities:

Selling and managing Euro bookings in French and sometimes in English.
Answering French and occasionally English phone calls and emails.
Greeting and helping French and occasionally English speaking customers at the office.
Helping to manage external tradesmen needed for maintenance
Working closely with the company Director in aiding the housekeeping, driving and admin team when French language is required, such as relaying messages, email and SMS’.
Aiding in company-wide translation between French and English. Ensuring French speaking customers, owners, suppliers and other stakeholders have a great level of communication and that all documentation is in good French.
Working closely with the marketing manager to ensure French messaging and marketing channels are well translated and relevant to the French market.

Driving Team

Driving Supervisor

(Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

Responsibilities:

Managing a small team of Alps based drivers, including
Ensuring delivery of a successful transfer day on the ground
Working closely with the Transport Director and Transport Manager (licence holder) to ensure that the drivers, vans and logistics of the transport business are managed in the alps.

Ideal candidates will have worked with Go Travel before or have great experience in travel and tourism industry and with managing people and processes.

Driver

Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

We have a growing team of some ‘the best drivers in the Alps’ and every season we are looking to recruit even more to the professional and friendly team.

Responsibilities:

Drive minibus with up to eight guests in at a time, ensuring a safe, professional and friendly service.
Ensuring that all legal requirements are met.
Maintenance, vehicle checks and cleans of at least one vehicle.
Resort representative and front line customer service of guests, ensuring all information required is communicated in a friendly and professional way.

Housekeeping Team

Resort Team Manager

(Montgenevre, France) Long Term

We are looking for a key team member to become part of our growing holiday business. Responsibilities:

  • Keeping in resort staff and clients safe and supported
  • Manage resort workflow and handle emergencies
  • Manage the resort staff and hours and ensure a great working environment
  • Keeping clients well supported and happy
  • Help to create work environments which honours individuals, whether they be staff, suppliers or clients
  • Feedback and report on key performance indicators with suggestions for improvements
  • Coordinate with the housekeeping, rep and driving managers and enable them to do the best job they can.
  • Also ensuring their teams are well resourced and supported.
  • Ensure all company, legal and health & safety policies are followed

The perfect candidate should be:

  • Fun and great with people

  • More than just good at multi-tasking, can you handle “curve balls” thrown at you on a weekly basis

  • Willing to consider or work towards a long term contract/relationship in at least the winter seasons
  • Up for working flexible hours and for going above and beyond in the pursuit of excellence and delivering an industry leading service

Awesome extras:

  • First hand experience with at least going on a winter sport holiday
  • Speak French or willing to learn/improve and/or speak Italian

Housekeeping Manager

(Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

Responsibilities:

Ensures the management of the properties and set up is delivered to a high standard.
Manages maintenance, set up, preparation for owners arriving
Works with the resort manager to oversee scheduling of change over days
Works with resort manager to oversee housekeepers
Oversees the management of keys and security of properties
Ensures all tradesmen have access and resources need to complete any maintenance work

Ideal candidates will have worked with Go Travel before or have great experience in travel and tourism industry and with managing people and processes.

House Keeper

(Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

Responsibilities:

Working with the house keeping manager to ensure properties are cleaned, maintained and set up to a high level.
Works close with housekeeping manager
Works with resort reps to ensure the best customer experience and service is delivered

Rep Supervisor

(Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

Responsibilities:

Manages other reps
Works with the resort manager to ensure the experience if our guests is exceptional.
Oversees delivery of equipment rental, lessons, après, breakfast deliveries, restaurant bookings,
Organises and attends drinks evenings but does not need to be primary presenter
Works with resort manager to oversee resort reps
Ensures the experience of holiday makers is the best it possibly can be.

Resort Rep

(Montgenevre, France) – Short Term, November – April every year.

Responsibilities:

Ensures the best hospitality and customer service is delivered
Helps deliver an exceptional service to our customers relating to the equipment hire, lesson bookings, restaurant bookings, breakfast deliveries, après bookings and ski passes.
Works closely with the Rep manager
Helps deliver successful meet and greet evenings
Greets guests into accommodation
Works with housekeepers to ensure properties are cleaned, maintained and set up to a high level.
